Rainy Sunday in Miami = Season 3 Weeds Blu-Ray Marathon.
And yes, that is the Santa Claus from Rudolph on my shelf. My mom sent it to me last Christmas and he sings “Jingle, Jingle, Jingle” and it gets my dog fired up when it plays, so I leave it up.

The Orphanage - I highly reccommend this movie. It is quite creepy, and the incredible storyline will stay with you after it is over. It has all you want, creepy kids, spooky masks, haunted houses, ghosts and the usual surprise shocks — but it delivers them all with amazing visuals, unique camera angles and heart-pounding tensions. It is in Spanish with English subtitles, but you don’t even notice after a while.

Piazza del Popolo - Rome: Ate my lunch in this square 3 days a week for 6 months.
Alright, I flat out love this song, and yes, the mp3 has been reblogged a bunch already, however, the video for this MAKES it. Jermaine is SO happy in the video. I mean SO happy. It just cracks me up.
Well, since I put up the audio the other day, might as well put up the video.
As you walk into George’s in the Grove (3145 Commodore Plaza), you are immediately greeted by the owner, George, a French man who promptly gets glasses of champagne for everyone. George is constantly zooming around from table to table, whistling like a bird at his staff for “More wine!” or “More bread!” or “Pommes frittes over here!” I am certain the staff hears this whistle in their sleep.
The atmosphere is jovial and fun and every person in the place seemed genuinely happy to be there. I saw lots of people randomly striking up conversations with people at the tables next to them —- which I think is the sign of a truly remarkable restaurant. It takes a special place to make everyone in the restaurant feel like they are eating together rather than a bunch of individual tables. You definitely feel like you are not in Miami when you are there, mostly because everyone on the staff is extremely helpful, polite, friendly and English-speaking.
The food was absolutely amazing and George came over to our table a million times to make sure everything was perfect and as you exit, he grins widely and gives out hugs and handshakes to everyone. If you are ever in Coconut Grove, I highly, highly recommend this place.
